DO-GRIP
Blocks and DO-GRIP Adapters
for “Modern” Cut-off Machines
ISCAR has developed replacement blocks and DO-GRIP adapters for "Modern Machine Tool Company" cut-off machines equipped with Manchester tools. An ISCAR adapter can be mounted on the Manchester block as well.
ISCAR tools are user-friendly and the indexing time for insert and adapter is very short. Our system is more economical, compared with the Manchester system. It is comprised of an adapter firmly clamped in a double prismatic clamping system. Adapter replacement can be performed directly on the machine, while the Manchester system uses a bottom support, an upper clamp and side clamping screws - a complicated system which requires removing the block in order to replace the adapter.
ISCAR’s adapter is double-ended while Manchester's is single-ended. ISCAR’s adapter can be mounted on a Manchester block, but
vice-versa is not possible. ISCAR’s system is without a doubt technically superior and provides an economical advantage to the customer.
